Understanding of basic Informatics and Telematics terms: Computers and Algorithms, Computer Organization, Computer Networks, Programming Language Categories, Operating Systems, Software Technology. Introduction to Informatics and Telematics applications: e-Commerce, Tele-Education and e-Governance. Report on the social impact of Computers. Lectures include: Introductory Topics in Computer Science Numerical Systems Data Storage Actions with Data Computer Organization Computer Networks and the Internet Operating Systems Algorithms
